Versatility is one of the trademarks of the HP COMPAQ NC6000. Its hot-swappable proprietary MultiBay, for instance, accepts a long list of options: a floppy drive, a second hard drive, a battery, the aforementioned weight saver, or various optical drives such as a DVD Drive or a plain-Jane CD-ROM drive.

The silver bulge on the lid, called the MultiPort, is also useful. It lets you connect to multiple wireless standards such as 802.11b (Wi-Fi) or Bluetooth. Compaq also plans to migrate the MultiPort technology to future wireless standards, such as 802.11g. One small quibble with the MultiPort module is that it sticks out above the rest of the notebook. If you have to flip the Evo on its lid to add more memory (for instance), it rocks a little and doesn't lay flat.

You have an option to buy extended warranty coverage thru ebay partnered Square Trade comapny

On average it costs $50 - $65 for 1 year extended Warranty coverage

Return Policy:

1. Most of the time we resolve issue by phone or email if we unable to resolve you can return the unit for replacement or refund. 

2. If you return the product within 7 Business days after receipt, we do not charge any restocking fees and we will issue full refund. We will send you prepaid shipping label and we will refund total cost minus shipping. ( we are reasonable and paying one way shipping ) most sellers do not offer free prepaid shipping and they do not refund shipping charges and then even charge restocking fees.

3.If your return is for a replacement unit within 30days because item is defective then we will send you prepaid return shipping label and you return the laptop back to us and we will send replacement laptop. In this case no additional charges on you. we pay shipping both ways.

4. If you need to return within 30days and you do not want replacement then we have to deduct shipping charges and also you have to bear the cost to ship the unit back to us. Still we do not charge restocking fee at all.
